You're Much More Than Crewnecks

Makayla created this collection to commemorate one of her major takeaways from her accident. After realizing a major part of her life abruptly came to an end, she was left feeling sad, of course, but strangely at peace. Makayla realized that although cheerleading was a part of her it wasn’t her identity. Her identity wasn’t of things of this world but Jesus Christ. There are many things that we so easily attach to who we are. We can find ourselves living in fear if a relationship would suddenly end, you lose your job, or didn’t make the team. Who could I possibly be without this key thing that I define my identity upon? God created you to be so much more than this label you are putting upon yourself.
